Fall of the western Empire 10: Comitatenses!

Yesterday I finished the first eight Comitatenses for my Warband. They were sitting on my shelf almost finished for some days now as I was to lazy to give them the final varnish and do the basing.
Anyway... 5pts. ready two more to go.






This time no closeups of evry single miniature but the Optio:


Miniatures are all by Musketeer Miniatures, while Shielddesigns are from LBM. I realy enjoyed painting them as it was a quite easy job because of the Lorica Hamata. Only the Optios linen/ leather armour was quite time consuming.

    They look just great! I understand how time consuming it is painting linen armour after having just recently finishing a regiment wearing it!
