Absolutely stunning work! Your WW2 miniatures are great, but Dark Ages stuff with lots of different clothes really show your skill! So smooth Great composition as well!
A perfect title for your vignette Nick which really tells a story. It has the quality of being a model much bigger than 28mm and the painting and basing is superb.
By the way Moiterei, I though I would post my reply to your comment in my blog just in case you didn't read it. My apologies if my post on the oil dot filter technique wasn't too clear but just to clarify the oil paints were NOT stored in a wet palette. All I did was place them on a cardboard inside a plastic container so that the linseed oil could leach out overnight without the paint drying too much. Hope this clears up matters :)
WooooW! Pure excellent!

ReplyDeleteLovely work Nick! I love the wrecked column - it really sets the stage.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic vignette. The colors are so beautiful - a perfect blend between figure and base.
