More SciFi - Oldhammer Delaque for Necromunda

First of all I do have to apologize to all of you on whose blogs I've failed to comment. For once it's not due to me being a lazy sod, I swear. For weeks now I've been having issues with blogger on my Apple devices. On some blogs my comments simply disappear. I've not quite worked out why, but it seems rather consistent. There are blogs I do have absolutely zero issues with commenting on and then there are those where my comments vanish into thin air... until very recently I thought it had to do with comment moderation and that my comments needed to be moderated first. But alas, no such thing. I'll of course try to work out the issue, but till then all I can do is to apologize to you for not commenting.

With that out of the way, now onto the main reason for this post:

Following on from last weeks Eldar today it's the turn of a few classic Delaque miniatures to have their place in the lime light. Back when Necromunda was first released I always had an eye on the game, but being young and broke meant I never got into it. Looking back it'd probably have made more sense to collect one or two gangs of Necromunda instead of trying (and of course failing) to collect an Imperial Guard army with the meagre means at my disposal. Oh well, the folly of youth...

I have yet to warm to GW's latest iteration of both rules and miniatures for Necromunda. Thus I sourced me a few old Delaque miniatures from all over the place. Now it's only a select few I'm still missing in my collection. So if anyone wants to get rid of their old Delaque miniatures, I'd happily take the following off your hands:

Like I said: If only I'd have had the sense to collect these back in the day...

This latest bunch is enough to bring my score for this year to 1044 points, or the equivalent of 261 20mm miniatures. To say I'm pleased with myself would be an understatement. Especially considering I do still have a few more figures up my sleeve I hope to be able to post before AHPC XII starts end of December.

  1. Hello my dear! I noticed the same discomforting habit of some blogs to resist to my tentatives to comment from my I pad. Often I took my time to write long comments to see them disappear in thin air… on some blogs I have no issues!
In case you get a solution to this annoying bug let me know!

  2. Fantastic work Nic - the brushwork is off the charts as always. And congrats on all of your painting progress!

  3. Fantastic painting as always, Nick. Very cool looking figures - and no worries about commenting/visiting blogs - I'm the same - sometimes I get side-tracked with other stuff and before I know it, it's been a week or two that I've been in the Blogosphere.

  4. Wow ... the skin tone work here is impressive. And the overall color scheme has been well implemented.
